Jamihlia has extensive tax knowledge in both international tax planning as well as U.S. federal tax controversy and litigation. 

She advises multi-national companies, sovereigns, and high-net worth individuals on a range of sophisticated cross-border tax transactions and disputes. She also represents clients at all stages of U.S. civil tax proceedings, including tax audits and examinations, appeals, summons requests, pre-trial settlement with the IRS and Department of Justice, and litigation before the U.S. Tax Court and U.S. Federal District Courts.  

Jamihlia is an Adjunct Professor at Emory University School of Law, where she teaches international taxation for J.D. students.

She is fluent in English and Spanish, and has basic working knowledge in French.
